Roslin's glasses

I'm a BSG geek. (cue chorus: "We knew that!") I've been speculating that glasses like President Laura Roslin's might look good on me. But I haven't seen ones exactly like those in stores. Wonder if they're fancy designer ones or what....

I also have enjoyed teasing Metageek, because he went to LensCrafters and dropped a chunk of change and I got glasses I'm otherwise quite happy with at a local optician, and ultra light weights, for under $80.

Date: 2005-10-11 08:11 pm (UTC)The lenscrafters advantage is the "one hour" thing, and that's what most of the high price goes to. However, my lenses, (and Metageek's) are so extreme that they never could get turn them around that fast, usually several days, so that advantage is lost.
