Dear "B"

No, I will not fax your 95-page document to you.
No, it wasn't necessary to ask your vice president to call our receptionist to confirm I wasn't lying when I said I had already put it in interoffice mail.

Sincerely,
"J"

Gah!
*comfort*

It's a pity you can't send interoffice mail 'Postage Due.' And add a few bricks. Perhaps there are more satisfying ways of delivering the bricks, though.

I take it this person is an example of the Peter Principle?

But just a minute boyz, I got da feedbox noise, it says his great grand faddah was Equipoise.

I LOVED that play. I got to play Nicely Nicely in High school. Then it was Naughty Naughty in college (grin)

Me, too. Actually, I played Nicely in Junior High (at camp), and then Nathan in High School. I'm sadly *so* not typey for Sky -- pity, since that would finish off the trifecta of getting to do all the good songs in the show. ("Luck Be a Lady" is still one of my favorites, even if I never got to do it on stage...)

Sit down you're Rocking the Boat will always be my favorite from that one. It was fun though. BTW - Did you see my post on the cat family for adoption? I wasn't sure if it was too soon for you but you and your lady came to mind when I posted it.

Cats

Too soon. The plan is that we will move first, then replenish our cat supply.

Yes, having spares in the cupboard is always a good idea. That actually reminds me of a story of my old cat, Mabon who enjoyed sleeping in the cupboard that would close behind her. We had a running gag that we always kept a frsh lap cat available for guests n the cupboard. I haven't thought about that in years.

Thanks, but we're manfully saying "no" for the moment. Our intent is to move first, then adopt a couple more cats. We'll see if our resolve holds up...

Are you a Wellesley . . . oh, wait. No, forget I asked.

That sounds like something the doctors at Emerson would have [livejournal.com profile] lpaladin do.
