The hard part, pt 2

The hard part, pt 1, was the terrible cramping and bleeding I've been suffering from intermittently since Christmas or so. Finishing up with five straight days of it, garnished with fever.
The hard part, pt 2, is sitting quietly at home for the next month. I have nice drugs to take for the first several days, which produce a floaty feeling without knocking me out. I feel well enough to consider doing things I know I probably shouldn't. I need to specialize for a while in playing with the computer, reading, watching Buffy reruns, etc.
To the many people who sent their good wishes -- THANK YOU! They definitely help, knowing you all are there and thinking of me.

Date: 2004-07-12 02:20 pm (UTC)If your Work Ethic won't let you be a sloth, at least do "work" on the computer. Write things. Send whatever notes of indignation you meant to, to companies, politicians, etc. Write an article for your local paper, etc.
Would you like a visit? I could come, pick you up, and you and I and the kids could go to a local playground; they to be wild, you and I to sit and watch them and chat.

Be well!
