Updating the OP, checking for registered names, spelling stuff, etc. Leading to all kinds of questions which could easily become digressions and keep me from making any progress at all.

Was Malkin Grey in the East or Atlantia when she got her Pelican? {I could go check Atlantia's split off date....]
Does Mairi still consider herself Eastern, and has she submitted that change of name yet?
Should I take Mahin out now that she resides in AEthelmearc?

Must concentrate. Want to finish three pages of the draft today. There are after all 103 pages in this edition.

Malkin is in fact a fascinating case. She was inducted in the kingdom of Atlantia, but not by the Crowns. They had planned on inducting her at a later event, but she and Ewan were moving out of kingdom (here, in fact), and the monarchs couldn't make the event, and so gave permission for the Order to induct her. If I recall correctly, Mistress Tanis of Tyr-y-Don presided.

I wasn't at the event, unfortunately, though I would have gone if I'd realized it was happening. One of the downsides of the east coast splintering into several kingdoms is that stuff happens to friends that you don't hear about in time.
