I have no room in my day for the stupid, foolish, or obstructive. One thing I know I'm going to need to develop to keep up with my promotion is more tact and people-handling skills. I know how to get information across; now I need to get it across in ways that people will support and welcome, instead of flinching from. The problem comes when I think the other people are being idiots....

Ugh. That's something I have a lot of trouble with as well. Thankfully, if I'm not stressed out, I can do it well over the phone. In person is a lot harder. And if I'm stressed, all bets are off.
