I have no room in my day for the stupid, foolish, or obstructive. One thing I know I'm going to need to develop to keep up with my promotion is more tact and people-handling skills. I know how to get information across; now I need to get it across in ways that people will support and welcome, instead of flinching from. The problem comes when I think the other people are being idiots....

Date: 2009-02-12 03:56 pm (UTC)I totally understand. I got better at it by taking various conflict resolution classes at Lotus and IBM. But even when I try very best to be tactful when dealing with absolute morons, I've been told I get a certain look on my face that betrays me.

Good luck with that. (((((HUGS)))
