My car seems to have a homing mechanism. As we were en route from
tpau's bat mitzvah to the OES First Visitation, we passed a roadside sign for Simsbury Public Library Book Sale. Heh. We didn't stop for toooo long, because we couldn't be late for dinner.

I probably wouldn't have known your roommate, we moves there my senior year in HS and I think you were a year ahead of me.
You might have known my sister, though - I think she was at Wellesley the same time as you (Diane Baldwin, class of '79) but there's a fair number of people even in a small college so it's hard to know them all. She's been relatively active in the SE CT alumni association since then.

After a while, you sort of lose track, especially if you don't have any kids to use as a reference point. (You know, when you start sending them off to college, it's pretty obvious you've been around for a while, as some of my friends are finding out. My family had their kids late and me none at all so I don't have that touchstone.)
