The interesting question in my book is whether Hillary comes after her. I'm guessing that the Republicans will try to portray any attacks against Palin as "anti-feminist" to cloud things up. Which might have some success -- unless Hillary is the one making the attacks.

I'm guessing that, while Hillary would probably prefer to be off the campaign trail at this point, the idea of Palin being the first woman in the White House instead of her is probably *horrifying* to her. So she might be willing to play the Democrats' counter in this case, and I'd bet that she would be extremely effective at doing so...

Or Michelle Obama. Wouldn't hurt for her to push the image of a strong first lady.

Perhaps, but less optimal -- remember that people are very down on Congress at this point, and Pelosi is *the* symbol of Congress. And frankly, she just doesn't have as much spark as Hillary does when she's fired up...
