Wouldn't you think if I emailed the headquarters of the gubernatorial candidate on Friday to request a lawn sign, that I'd either have a sign, or a return email about it, by now? I know my candidate holds a significant lead in the polls, but do they think he doesn't need more visible support?

They might. Remember that candidates get to keep any left-over campaign funds raised after the election is over.

They have a "store" on the website, where one can purchase a sign, but they claim that you need to allow 21 days for shipping. I'm willing to pay a modest donation for a sign ($5 or so?) but if it didn't arrive for three weeks it would get here after the election.

Oh well, I guess he's better off spending money retaliating at the mudslings of his opponent.
