Wouldn't you think if I emailed the headquarters of the gubernatorial candidate on Friday to request a lawn sign, that I'd either have a sign, or a return email about it, by now? I know my candidate holds a significant lead in the polls, but do they think he doesn't need more visible support?

Out of signs
Date: 2006-10-18 06:04 pm (UTC)That actually sounds pretty reasonable. Signs are mostly good for name recognition; once you've reached saturation, you probably don't need any more.

I found the idea of having to do all the work to support my candidate -- like drive to San Fran to get the lawn signs if I didn't buy them from the website, because the office in Sac wasn't allowed to give them out -- almost enough to not do the support.
