Hi there! Long time no see! I connected to James through Raf's journal a little while ago.

This is the shortest my hair has been since I was 14 (the year I decided to cut it myself). It'll be weird for a bit, I think, but at least the stylist talked me out of bangs - she says it's too curly for them to obey.

Mark (jducoeur) is doing well, recently got a promotion at his dot-com employer. We're currently between cats, but will get another pair once we're really really done unpacking.

Yes, back in December we moved to Burlington, where we have elbow room, a big living room with skylights, and half an acre of garden. It looks like an unprepossessing raised ranch in my icon, but it's much bigger and in better shape than our old Waltham digs. We've managed to unpack two storage units plus Mother's things, and as soon as we get it all settled down we can get new cats.
