I didn't realize how upset I was, until I heard they have a donor.

I think Baltasar has company and friends tonight, but toward the end of the day I plan to check on him. If he has nothing handy, Robin and I will probably take him out to dinner in or near Chinatown.

(He and I are not all that close, but this is not a time to quibble. I'll gladly stand aside for people who are closer to him.)

Mistress Lucia, Baroness of Concordia of the Snows, was suddenly overtaken by liver failure. She felt poorly following their big Memorial Weekend event, and was hospitalized last Friday. She was transferred from her home town hospital to Tufts NEMC in Boston, and short-listed for a transplant. If a donor had not been found, her prognosis was mere days. As I look at the clock, it's likely she's still in surgery.
