I hate that it takes me an hour to screw up my courage to call a carpenter, I call, and discover I've been given the wrong number. Time to start over with the girding my loins bit and call another one.

And, if it comes to that, my ex-wife's fiance. Regardless of all the BS, I've seen some of his work, and he's good. He's made her some nice furniture, for example.
