A poem lovely as a tree....

Our next door neighbor had the tree service in today to take down the stately old oak in his back yard, the big one that shaded both his porch and our whole back yard.

GRRRRRR!!!!!!

That's my neighbor's point of view. That I ought to prefer planting roses to a cool & shady yard. He can't see why I should object to his cutting down that tree. (I know it's his tree to keep or cut, but I liked it.) I suppose he'll start again on why don't we cut down some of our treelets, too.

Bah, maybe whoever moves in after we upgrade & leave will share his viewpoint.
