Position filled

Well, pout. The Large Defense Contractor, to whom I sent my resume in March, and who interviewed me the second week in May, told me just now that as of yesterday the position is filled. (Nothing like speed, is there?)

I had that happen a few times too.. which leads me to think that I was a second or third choice, and they were waiting until their first choice had accepted the position before telling me no.
