The interview may have to be rescheduled. They just sent me a request to fill in all their paperwork online in advance - work history, references, address history, etc. Their estimate is that it will take an hour. But I'm already at work, and (LJ posting notwithstanding) don't have an hour to spend surreptitiously filling it out, especially on a day when I will be leaving at 1 o'clock for the interview!

So I called the recruiter back, and left voicemail asking whether I should come without paperwork, or reschedule.

That's fairly high on the clueless meter for them to do that. Good luck whichever!

Online paperwork. Oh, the irony.

Oh yes, online paperwork. When I actually settled in at home to attend to it, I discovered that all their questions were covered in my Detailed Work History document, which I'd had with me at the interview, except my undergraduate and graduate GPAs. (As if I remember my GPA! If they call me back and ask me for 'em, I'll have to call the respective schools.)

I was logging in to Groton Utilities' website to do the same sort of thing, when the phone call came to cancel the appointment.
BRAC list has been published: Groton Sub Base is on that list (major client of theirs, I take it, which causes a ripple effect of uncertainty on the local economy).

I'll keep my fingers crossed that things go better for you.
