What kind of nut sends a 10 MB attachment to All Employees, in a company that enforces at 100 MB max mailbox size?

Management? *grin*

I'm not sure, is this a rhetorical question?

Did it contain the new mandantory format for the TPS reports? Cause there *was* a memo.

Cause sometimes you feel like a nut... sometimes you are one.

I gave a particularly egregious user a 25GB partition and told him not to bug me.

"Self-important" is, I beleive, the word you are looking for here.

One place I worked, after a round of virus and worm infections, a memo was sent out to all employees, signed by the CEO, stating that no outside mail systems were to be accessed, no "chain" or humorous messages were to be forwarded, not to open attachments unless you were expecting them, etc, etc...

What did we receive the next day?

A forward of a "joke" program, that was a worm, from the CEO.

Do as I say, not as I do?

Ryan works for CSC... I get to hear all kinds of stories like this, all the time (esp during 'virus season' - which is like every other week..). If I haven't properly introduced you two, let me know. :)

Joke

Clearly, the first message was the joke.
