I poked around the Boskone website. They have this function where you can look and see who's pre-registered. No one I could think of (you, for example) that she might like at the party that are also likely to go to Boskone were registered.

This is no guarantee that they wouldn't rather go to Boskone... but at least they're not committed already

Yeah, but I already have a hotel room and am committed to some program. I'll certainly come for a piece of the action, unless we're blizzarded in, but I'm sure I won't be able to stay for as nearly as long as I'd like.
