I read the first two; found them lukewarm, but maybe they'd be better for a real Young Adult audience.

I found the reviews on Amazon amusing -- a whole bunch of girls scandalized by the light sex and another bunch defending it.

Yah know, I didn't really like the Lioness books, primarily because of the whole "sleeping with her knight" thing. It's a concept that bothers me.
