Out of commission

This is probably one of the most efficient ways I could handle distributing word. I'm having surgery tomorrow to take care of my uterine fibroids (this is not cancer, but they have been giving me pain off and on all spring, and worse lately).

I'll be out of work for a month or a bit more, and there's no GNE and probably no Pennsic either in my summer. But I'll still work on the reign, the polls, and other SCA admin stuff from the comfort of my living room. I'll be around on LJ after the first coupla days, and of course by email or phone.

I'd appreciate good thoughts in my direction, if you-all would.

It can be a tough decision, speaking from way-way-too-much experience. I believe that, when it is all over, you will be a happier soul and more at ease.
