I just placed a nice little order with World Merchants, in Seattle, who seem to be the Barony of Madrone’s official spicers. Amusingly, they have a separate section under Spice Blends for “Medieval Europe” and include things like Poudre Forte. Would love to know what fraction of their business is SCA.

Neat - they sell spice and tea mixes (e.g. garam masala and chai) with the whole spices! And their shipping policy looks good too, although I'm a bit taken aback by a company that doesn't take credit cards and just says to mail them a check after you get your shipment (no rush, but remember that they have to pay rent - wow, so trusting!).

I really should go to one of the Indian grocery stores in Waltham for Indian spice mixes, but I think I'm too nervous and shy. This place looks much less intimidating. Thanks for pointing it out. :)
