Eeek! It's going to snow!

Does that mean everyone will come to the event and want to curl up with warm cider and dance by candlelight, or everyone will stay away in droves and I'll have 50 lbs of lamb and 30 lbs of marinated veggies and a dozen apple pies, left over? Contingency plan time. But WHICH contingency plan?

think of it this way, feast sold out, which means peopel have already payed money, which means regardles sof weather they come or not, event doesn't loose money on this. that being said, ther ewill either be enough food, or food left over. left over food is always good, as it means peopel can take it home.
[personal profile] learnedax said "ooh, left over pie! um, i mean that woudl be too bad, yeah" so there :)

How'd it go? Inquiring minds want to know.

It went really well, if I do say so myself!

We had a little adventure discovering that two of the five ovens did not work, and the others were running cool, but we served less than half an hour late, and everything went out in the order intended.

I mean to write a real LJ entry about it, but I gotta finish a day-late book ms. first :)

It went well.

A gross of people attended; apparently three did not have a great time. One was me, but I don't count. One was sick, so that's obviously out of my control, so that leaves just one person who I heard complain. My attempts at amelioration apparently aggravated, more's the pity.
