Found the potter (Nonna the Midwife) but she's out of the pottery business due to injury. I'll have to find another source for itty bitty ceramic tasting cups, which are ever so handy when somebody says "would you like to try my homebrew?"

Does it have to have a handle? Could you use maybe a nice saki cup?

But also, I have a potter friend if you have a pic?

Bonus points for it having either a handle or a stem, so I can leash it to my belt.

I'll keep your friend in mind, thanks for the offer!

I've always liked Please Touch Pottery myself, but they aren't exactly what I'd call subtle, if that's what you're looking for. They mostly do big sturdy things that are tough to break.

I picked up a cup for just that purpose at Pennsic this year. I got mine from the same person who makes the squashed fairy mugs.
Her website is here:

Yes, that's just the size and shape I have in mind (like this morning's crash victims)! Thank you.

Do you carry a secret large cup for when the person offering is Sir Michael or Aquel? :-)

When I pass out tastes, I tend to do so in small quantities, to avoid problems like this. Just one 12 oz bottle at a time.

Then again, I tend to can my beer. In single-serving 5 gallon cans.

Dang!

When I first read that, I thought you had started brewing.

I'm a lapsed brewer - it has been more than a year since my last batch. Some reign, when I'm home on weekends, there will be more.

Ash & Griffin Pottery has tasting cups, maybe 1/4 to 1/3 cup size on a leather thong http://www.ashandgriffin.com/, last I priced them they were $8.00 - all three of us have one :) They will be at Gulf Wars and Pennsic. Tell then Bess Darnley sent you :) I can send you a picture of one if it helps as I do not see it on their site, but I saw some at Estrella.
