Rare pleasures

I have the whole day to myself. Even with a mild cold, and a list of chores as long as I can reach, that's just delightful. I got my hair cut, I've just put in the second load of wash, the cats and birds are fed. Once I've cleaned the bathroom I can curl up with a good book.
