The shopping concludes

Last stop for the weekend, this morning, [livejournal.com profile] madamebuttery's glorious divestment of hundreds of her books. When we arrived, we found we'd been preceded by a bookseller from Portland (Maine) and [livejournal.com profile] jdulac and [livejournal.com profile] lucianus. There was still plenty for us, though, cookbooks and gardening and even a couple Oz books we didn't have already.

Any idea who the bookseller was? We have a couple of good used shops here; I wonder if it was the Cunningham Books guys?

I believe he said the shop name was Rabelais Books.

It's okay, people, [profile] auntie_elspeth and I offloaded a couple dozen today (cookery for her, Latin [plus "Teach Yourself Urdu"] for me), and there are still tons left.
