47. Not a bad number.
As soon as I get confirmation, I'll start on putting them in sequence for the processional, so I can post the ordered list a few days before the tournament.

He listed consorts!

Yay!

That is a good, workable number, and about what I expected.

Here's an observation:

Under standard order of precedence, Lord Ulfr Stevenson, who received his AoA at ar of the Roses, would be 43rd or 44th.

If they go with the precedence of the consort, he's 10th, because he's fighting for Alethea.

Yeah, (Lord?) Thaddeus is fighting for Viscountess Gwenllian, so there's another couple who would move way up if we were to use "the rank of the senior member of the pair" not just the rank of the fighter.

(Your Majesty, if you're listening, and would like to consider this idea, let me know.)

Wouldn't Syr Ankara's pair bump up as well??

Also, Elizabeth Eleanor Lovell is a Baroness, not a Lady. :-)

I'd rather they go with the precedence of the higher of the two, myself.

I do like the image of Sir Gabriel and Lady Sonja running back and forth from where they fall in order of precedence if he's "the consort" to where she's "the consort". Like the Precedence Uncertainty Principle or something.

I wouldn't, but mostly because I want to be in line as close to JP, D. Sebastian, and Angus as possible.

HIGH LARITY.

I once say a procession where they went by "who ever got thier AoA first." It was hystarical.

I was in one where they went by precedence of the Combatant's fighting awards only. I was listed by my AoA, so I "would at least have something in the way of rank". I was offended by the whole concept.

I believe that Philip was incorporating that a little bit in his list too - Master Julian (OL) is listed behind all the knights, even the ones who haven't been peers as long as he.

I suspect my position wouldn't change much. :)

Sadly for me, Crown is on a day I can't make it. The riot that would ensue if I weren't around to placate the herds of migrating wildebeest we call Halloween would tear down the neighborhood.
