Book finished
4. Trading in Danger, by Elizabeth Moon.

A good yarn, somewhat diminished by the need of a good proofreader. Not only not Baen style (two-letter syllable hyphenation in particular) but actual typos.

One does wonder about Elizabeth Moon's background. Typical of Moon's characters, the heroine is not only military, like Moon, but comes from a prosperous and wide-reaching commercial trader family -- so is that autobiographical too?

"Irresistible Forces" and if you're looking at the B&N in Burlington it's (mis)shelved with Romance, New Releases, Beverley (who happens to be the first bold-face listed author).

Back when you and I were at HDI at the same time, one of the books that showed up in the lending library corner was "the world's first SF romance." Mind you, this was years after the Pern stuff. Snort. Anyway, it was ghastly.

Thanks for the title & locator!
