[Poll #1422832]

p.s. Blue Ginger is not in the running because my father-in-law is taking us there on another night.

I cast my vote based on it being the only place on the list where I've eaten :)

I have no good reason to vote for Tryst, except that Robin has been volunteering with the Arlington Farmer's Market - and the guy at Tryst has been selling there, and she likes him. :-) Also, he hosted the recent organizational meeting - and the two of them (Robin and the owner) are planning an informal "pickle competition". :-)

I've always like the food, but I like the food at Gargoyles more. :-)

You know, the name Evoo makes me cringe. I have no idea if their food is good, though.

Their food is quite tasty. I especially recommend the garlic studded beef tenderloin.

Blue Ginger would have blown away the competition, in my estimation. However, we find it's easy to sneak in on a weeknight, and have appetizers in the bar area instead of a sit-down meal (for which we would otherwise probably need reservations).

Also, I can recommend Fugakyu Brookline for excellent sushi/sashimi

I liked Om. Quiet, and among the best of the uberpricey places my dad in law has brought us to.

Or Locke-Ober, but that may just be the steak au poivre they plied me with.

I like Terramia better than Evoo. If it's nice out, I'd go to Harvest and dine in the atrium. If it wasn't, and I didn't want to go to the North End, I go to Henrietta's Table.

Well, you know I'm a fan of Catch, but beyond that I'll point out that their mussels and chorico in tomato broth was highlighted in the Sunday Globe magazine food issue this week.

I haven't eaten at a single place on the list, but I'm pretty sure this is where I want to go for my birthday next year.

Edit: I just realized it's in the other Bedford, so perhaps not. I was wondering why I had not heard of this place before today.

Are you willing to come down into Boston? Eastern Standard in Kenmore Square is a current favorite.

Further north, there's Flora in Arlington.
