Based on the criterion of "I've voluntarily spent a night there, and probably more than that, not just changed planes," which rules out Georgia, Utah, Colorado, Michigan, Illinois. Ohio/Kentucky is the exception: I went to a conference in Cincinnati, but my hotel was in Kentucky. All my waking time was Ohio, though.
