Yesterday being such a beautiful day, we decided to explore the town center of Winchester and find someplace for dinner. Quaint little Winchester turns out to have four restaurants: Catch (upscale seafood), Ristorante Lucia (Italian), China Sky (Chinese), and Imari (Korean/Japanese/Thai). We ended up at Imari, and had a very pleasant meal of sushi and sashimi. The sashimi filets were delicate and small, but fresh and tender. The standard rolls (tuna-cucumber) were dull dull. The winner of the whole meal was one of their special rolls, Wild Cards Roll, with several kinds of fish, roe, and a spicy drizzle. For that alone, I'd go back - but for my money's worth of ordinary sushi/sashimi, I'd head to one of the Sato establishments in Waltham or Stoneham.

I am quite fond of Imari, and China Sky as well. Both are a bit higher priced than I think is truly necessary, but I've enjoyed all my meals there. Service at Imari can be uneven, but has seemed to improve.

Catch and Lucia are on our list to try soon, Catch first. But gosh: we make so much seafood at home...
