I do so much better with facts & data than with creativity.
Compose a letter to a stranger asking for a charitable donation? eeew. What if it sounds weird?
Make a spreadsheet checklist to track recurring updates to a text? no problem. (and by-the-way corrected the data source while I was at it)

Me, I have trouble answering phones. And there are compilations of that kind of letter on the web, so I don't have to write them.
I would suspect that it's just that area of creativity that you don't do so well with, and others you are fine with.

Compose a letter making someone feel good about themselves and donating to our cause? No problem! Follow up with a letter making them feel good about our organization regardless of whether or not they donated? Easy!
Tracking something in a spreadsheet that draws data from multiple sources and automatically compiles it and formats it perfectly without any errors? Eeep! (Jumps up from desk and runs away.)
