At Joan & Art's Allstate weekend, the Grand Family (state officers) who will be installed in May were revealed. They include:
DTS - Grand Ruth

yours truly - Deputy Grand Matron

The Marshal posse rides again!

That my appointment as a DGM was decided at the last minute & I am taking the term of a woman who passed a week ago Tuesday, seems to be remaining fairly well concealed.

My remarks at the banquet, consisting of thanks to the key people responsible for my year, were well-received. And jducoeur says I was the best dressed person there (but keep in mind, he isn't a fan of the sequined-tunic look, so my sheer jacket over camisole was a win).

Sounds like you would have been a cool delight for over-strained eyes. Let alone that you tend to look fabulous anyway.
