So the outcome of my Friday post about "what shall I do?" was:

Saturday: cuddle kittens, a fistful of OP corrections, clean off entire desk in office onto dining room table and start sorting papers, visit from [livejournal.com profile] rufinia to browse our cookbooks.

Sunday: cuddle kittens, sort a few more papers*, make Cranberry Melomel with assistance from [livejournal.com profile] jducoeur.

*sorting papers will take aaaaages and will probably occasion further tired posts

Instead of cranberries try Lingonberry syrup. I got mine at IKEA.

How much lingonberry syrup to how much water & honey? Lingonberry jelly seems so sweet (I like it with IKEA meatballs!) that I suspect I'd want to reduce the honey, or put in some kind of sharper spice like clove, so it wouldn't be too cloying.
