"anastasiav was in a car accident today (Thursday the 30th). A car pulled out in front of her (she was on her scooter) at an intersection and she ended up with a shattered kneecap. She's had surgery, and is in the hospital. The Halloween party is canceled. That's all I know, and I got that from Kath who got it from Ivan.

I'm quite seriously tempted to roadtrip up there tomorrow with a casserole. Or next Sunday, when she'll presumably have gotten home.

Was thinking the food thoughts too. Would ship something up if they had freezer space, although was thinking if they had a restaurant nearby that did gift cards that would be an option too.

Update via Mylisant and Fairestyarrow: She hopes to be home tonight, has "had better days" and will post when she's able. She greatly appreciates everyones' well wishes.
