Tried to stop in Ariel, Washington, which is the home of the annual D.B. Cooper Day celebration. D.B. Cooper was the nice gentleman who hijacked an airplane back in the 70s and escaped with the ransom money by walking out of the back of a Boeing 727 in flight. The people in Ariel believe that they are the closest "town" to where he jumped, so they celebrate his feat each year.
