Yay progress

Unpacked the Table Linens box from Mother/Nana, and found places to put away a couple damask dinner cloths, some linen napkins, two lace tablecloths (one hand-tatted), several luncheon cloths, and half a dozen handkerchief-linen guest towels.

Plenty of room left in the Harry Potter closet for the films and photos from Daddy, also probably the projection equipment.

Finally got ahold of dauphin1974 who is going to make a test batch of his faux mead syrup this weekend, and probably will make all we need for the Mead Hall next month. Also got ballpark prices on his ingredients for the feast budget.

Very close to closing out the contract on Storage 1. I'm going to move that mattress and spring out of there, even if it means putting them out for the trash man, and carrying them myself, by the end of this week, and then I can stop paying for the unit effective this weekend. Because the person to whom I'm trying to give the bed set could buy a new one for what it would cost me to rent the storage on the old set for another month. Nyah!

If the weather is fine this weekend - even if cold - I'm going to measure the vegetable garden and start planning for my herbs & veggies, as well as what to do about the path and do I want raised beds in one corner or not? Basil, chives, rosemary, mint, tomatoes, and what else?

Clueless ones

I just refused a request from a person whose name I totally do not recognize (does not appear anywhere in my Precedence files), who was trying to join all nine polling lists for the East. Including the Chivalry and the Rose! Bub, if you live in this kingdom and claim to be a member of either the Chivalry or the Rose, and especially if you are a member of both*, trust me if I say I don't recognize your name. Nervy, I have to give him that.

(The East has no male members of the Rose. Period. Yet, anyway.)
