01) Are you currently in a serious relationship? Nothing romantic.
02) What was your dream growing up? Varied, a princess who went on quests, and an astronaut were the biggest.
03) What talent do you wish you had? More one I wish I'd cultivated...I'd love to be able to play the guitar or piano. I'm sure I could have if I'd studied and applied myself.
04) If I bought you a drink what would it be? Assuming I didn't have a migraine or the threat of one, gin and tonic, preferably with Bombay Sapphire.
05) Favorite vegetable? Very much depends on preparation method - overall, probably the tomato, except it's really a fruit.
06) What was the last book you read? "The Third Circle" by Jayne Ann Krentz. Total brain candy, formulaic fluff that I took out of the library - I needed to turn the squirrels off.
07) What zodiac sign are you? Leo
08) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where. Two piercings in each ear lobe.
09) Worst Habit? Procrastination.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride? Sure, um, assuming my head wasn't off in the clouds somewhere and I totally failed to notice or recognize you.
11) What is your favorite sport? Not much of a sports fan. On TV I like golf, lots of pretty green nature and at tense bits they get very quiet so they don't wake you up from your nap.
12) Do you have a Pessimistic or Optimistic attitude? Oh, optimistic.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Call Maintenance. Then talk, about everything and anything.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you? Hmmm...hard to pin down any one specific thing. Most had silver linings in retrospect. The clinical depression at the end of my hell year in Speech-Path grad school was pretty bad, worse than the breast cancer treatment the next year.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you. I sang a recital in Uppsala, Sweden in the house of Karl Linnaeus, father of the modern system of taxonomy.
16) Do you have any pets? Nope, no space or time right now. I visit with my friends' pets.
17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly? I'd invite you in for tea and a chat.
18) What was your first impression of me? Calm and intelligent.
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary? Depends on the clown.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? I want to have a reduction mammoplasty on the unaffected breast so it's the same size as the treated one. They aren't vastly different in size, you have to really look but I'd like to be symmetrical.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? Conscience, probably.
22) What color eyes do you have? Blue with a gold sunburst around the pupil.
23) Ever been arrested? Nope.
24) Bottle or can soda? Bottle.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it? Pay the co-insurance on my upcoming shoulder surgery and the reduction mammoplasty mentioned above, get a cap/bridge combo to fix my mixed-up lower right canine/incisor teeth, and save the rest towards a new car when mine finally dies.
26) Favorite band to listen to when you're mad? Not sure, Don't think about playing music when I'm mad - strange for a musician but then, for me, music isn't a background thing.
27) What's your favorite place to hang out at? My bed...comfy...mmm...
28) Do you believe in ghosts? I reserve judgment pending satisfactory evidence one way or the other.
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Read, sew/embroider, noodle around on the internet, play with my nieces and nephew, sleep.
30) Do you swear a lot? Depends on context. Almost never in public, moderately in private, like a trooper with close friends.
31) Biggest pet peeve? People who don't tell me when they have a problem with me. I don't know about it, I can't fix it (if only by going away). Telepathic I'm not.
32) In one word, how would you describe yourself? Eccentric.
33) Do you believe/appreciate romance? Oh, yes.
34) Favourite and least favourite food? (spelling intentional) Ice cream and okra.
35) Do you believe in God? Which one? I generally believe in most of them (as well as a number of goddesses).
