(no subject)

I need a Shepherd's Crook Herald icon. I'm thinking either two crooks in saltire, or a crook and a straight trumpet. Somebody with leet graphic skills want to make me one?

I could do that.

What size do you want it? Colors? Do you want it slick and modern looking (like those smooth ones that ...? forget his name... is doing for $10) or kind of medium/average inked-with-color fill, or engraving-look?

Would you like a little banner on it that says "Shepherd's Crook Herald" so people will have more clue?

Thank you, that would be swell.

LJ icon size, and about the text and texture I have no idea :)

It's half done already. ;) (There are some heraldic clip art things online...)

I'll post you a B&W version and you can tell me what to change. It's the work of only a minute or two, to make changes.

First draft

Edit: oh, this is technically a crozier; perhaps you might want something a little less ecclesiastic. I can make the hook to look rather like the shaft if you like.

The longer I look at it, the more I like it. At first I flinched from all the details, being used to very plain SCA heraldic motifs like the standard trumpets-on-green of a herald.

Can you color it, green field and gold charges?

Yeah, the crozier is rather florid. Would you like the curve simplified? Coloring it is easy.

Yes, simpler please.

Google Images has quite a lot of them, including this:
