I believe that TWC defines the day's "high" as the temperature at about 3 pm. Granted, that is often when it's highest, but come on, folks!

heh. We were forecast via Weather Underground.com at 94 and it's 97; good day for the kids to do the lemonade stand. They've sold two cups so far (sidewalk traffic is slow in the 'burbs, but it was a Staples delivery van). At least the 44% thunderstorm risk probably won't materialize. ... at least, there aren't any on the radar screen.

Maybe I will get all the yardwork and beework done today after all!

I see my high at 94. I can't see my home thermometer at the moment, but Saturday they gave our high at 96 and I saw 103/104.
