OES Grand Chapter

Came home totally "peopled out." Have completely used up my entire fund of Polite, Simulated Extrovert, etc. My pleasure in the honor of being Joan's marshal is very overwhelmed by the fact that I recharge via private time, and most other members seem to recharge by sociability. I really hope that an "I" like me can manage the year without losing it. Am very concerned that most OES members not only are "E" but don't really comprehend life as "I."

Sympathy and empathy on being "peopled out."

I think that difference between "I" and "E" is why I spend much of SLA conferences on my own, seeing the sights, having meals, or reviewing my notes. That way, I'm ready for the group events, big and small.
