Falling behind
I remember this from last year. I had very few days or evenings free in the spring, and about half of those it rained. This is how my garden got so disgraceful looking so fast. Everything is so lush, and growing with great zeal, including (or especially!) the weeds. My Flylady 15-minutes-a-day theory works nicely only if I have my 15 minutes of dry daylight.
I wonder how much it would cost me to bring in a squad of gardeners for just one afternoon for a spring cleanup. I wonder if I could find a gardener, or squad, who either knew a weed from a flower, or spoke enough English to take instructions. Maybe I should start rummaging Angie's List.

She is top-notch - inventive, vigorous, and doesn't need direction.
