I wish I could shake the feeling that I'm going to be very glad I backed up all my personal files and most of the Librarian files yesterday, and took the disks off site. I'd like to be overreacting, but I'm afraid I might not be.

Signs point to yuck. I can imagine several scenarii, most of which are not good for me. We'll see: I may be looking for temp work by Monday, or I may be overreacting.

Well, one way or another, it's not going to be the end of the world. I think you've battened down the hatches appropriately, and if we need to ride something out, we're decently prepared to do so...

Ugh. I hope you're wrong but I'll never forget that once for no particular reason, I did the same and then re-installed my laptop (at work). One week later, I was let go :( It sucks...

On the upside, that particular event led me to making all sorts of wonderful life changes so it seems to have been for the best :)
