Down one more pound. Nearly back to my lowest recent weight. Go me.

Yay! Does this mean that soon there will be shopping for new fabulous stuff to suit the new fabulous you?

There is *always* shopping. I'm smugly wearing a pair of size 14 slacks today -- this is a definite improvement over the 16s. I actually have things that are *too big* for me now, which is a delightful novelty. I can only imagine what it'll be like when I lose another 15 and get to my goal weight.

Go you! (Assuming you are happy about the lost pound, of course.) I'm all over the place right now. I'm hovering around the same weight, but some days I'm a pound or three heavier, and some days I'm a pound or three lighter. So long as the scale isn't steadily and contiuously climbing, I'm still doing something right -- despite all the things I *know* I'm doing wrong, like that bag of conversations hearts I just bought two days ago and finished off this morning. LOL

Yep, happy about that pound. It's hard-fought, especially this time of year when it's hard to find exercise/outdoor time. I had lost 18 lbs last year when I was so sick. Rebounded somewhat over the Thanksgiving-Christmas holidays this year, but have put 2 lbs back off since the new year. Goal weight is 15 lbs away from my present spot. Keeping my eyes on that horizon....

Don't beat yourself up too much about the conversation hearts. Real deprivation isn't the point. (And btw, congrats on Little Miss B.!!)

Did you lose your appetite during cancer treatment? If so, have you gotten it back since then? I am pretty sure a major component of my weight loss has been that I pretty much eat by rote now, and I was wondering if you are in a similar situation.

Regardless of the reason, congratulations, and I hope you get to the physical shape you desire.

Yes. The mental mouth-feel of food had no appeal. I didn't have a nausea problem, but I had no desire to eat. I would imagine the taste and feel of, say, fettucini Alfredo in my mouth and turn up my nose.

Now, I definitely have my appetite back and have to consciously choose to not eat, or to eat less. Fortunately, I'm finding it takes a bit less to feel satisfied than it used to several years ago.
