Friday night: Mexican -- good Mexican -- at Cantina Laredo in Ft. Myers. Their Chicken Laredo was a boneless breast with a spicy vegetable sauce including artichokes and mushrooms.
Saturday: sandwiches for lunch. Chicken teriyaki and potatoes on the grill, by Dave. Tossed salad by Allison and Sandy.
Sunday: Crispy duck breast salad, at the Island Cow. Boeuf A La Mode from the latest issue of Cooks', by Dave. Mother's pot roast never tasted like this!
Monday: Coconut shrimp over salad at Amy's Over Easy Cafe. Salmon with pepper and tomato citrus relish, spicy green beans, grilled potatoes (by Allison), and oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies by Ruth.
Tuesday: Leftover salmon and things frittata for brunch (Dave and me). Roast brined turkey with orange-rosemary butter, fabulous gravy, and mashed potatoes (Ruth), green bean casserole (me), ginger chip cookies (Justin).
Wednesday looks like another brunch trip to Amy's, even though it's not called Amy's any more, followed by grilled steak tips (by Justin), broccoli with garlic (me), and something needs to be figured out for a potato/starch.
Thursday we'll attempt to go out, all 9 of us including the small children, place TBD.

(You don't have to buy the branded ginger pieces he mentions - you can cut up chunks of candied ginger.)
