Years as a semi-pro caroler, for victory! I was able to get most of them based on what miniscule pronunciation training I've had, and a store of carol knowledge. I think it would be more fun still if you actually know the A-S. And some of the words (geboren, e.g.) are still used in the traditional german versions of the carols.
Are these really that hard? I've never studied Old English (though I'll cop to some related languages, and general scholarly dorkiness), and the only one I couldn't recognize on sight turns out to be one I don't even know in modern English. (1.7)
