msmemory_archiveLeetle bitty steps. A month ago I sent in paperwork and payment for a vanity license plate "PELICN".* I haven't heard anything - I'd expected to get an acceptance note from the RMV by now - so I just went and checked. PELICN is not available. Assuming nobody else applied for the same plate in the last four weeks, it looks like it's been assigned to me and I just have to wait for the plates to be manufactured.
*It's PELICN not PELICAN because there's a 6-character limit in Mass.
