Cat owners have messy houses

It's almost axiomatic -- but it's not for the reason that people believe! Cats don't make (much) mess, but cats on my lap cause serious relaxation and inertia! If my lap is unoccupied, I'm more likely to pop up during a commercial break or time out and do some quick tidying. Mustn't let these cute black kittens totally break me of that habit.

Have you run into that thing about Gravity collecting under cats and beds and dropping through the house, affecting other people? It's lovely. I forget the source, but if you're not familiar with it, I'll track it down for your reading pleasure.
