IS position open

Help wanted, Woburn.

Systems Engineer (Woburn) – Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the Systems Engineer is responsible for identification of internal and external user needs and the design and implementation of enterprise IT hardware and software initiatives. This position requires a well-rounded individual with advanced knowledge and experience in security and firewalls (PIX is a plus), VOIP, VPN, virtual servers and PC’s, application deployment technologies, Web services, SANs, version control, Citrix, Microsoft GPO’s and SQL DBA. Linux experience is also desirable. With minimal supervision, this engineer will act in a collaborative environment and will be a mentor to other team members. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science and possess professional certifications in three of the following areas or demonstrable skills in those areas. Microsoft (MCP or MCSE), Cisco (CCNA, CCSP or CCNP), Wireless (CWNA, CWNP), Linux (Linux+ or LPIC), Telephony (Convergence+) and Web services (Inet+) The ability to work well and communicate with all levels of company personnel and clients is absolutely critical. Occasional travel within New England may be required.


Disclosures: You have to sit in the office next to mine. And I get a referral bonus if you are hired and stay at least six months.
We also need an NC machinist, a shipping/receiving clerk, and several other things.

Is this a "lift heavy things" type shipping/receiving clerk? (thinks of [livejournal.com profile] galaneia's glee at doing receiving for the bead store)

Yes. Some heavy lifting would be involved - and a forklift operator's license or willingness to be trained for one would be a bonus.
