I hear you. I ordered 4 things from Amazon two weeks ago - three books from the kids' Summer Reading Lists, and the Harry Potter book on CD. Two of the books I ordered second hand from the people who list with Amazon, two were new. All were paid for on the same credit card. The two second hand books arrived, no issues. Yesterday, 7/21, I got an email from Amazon saying my credit card hadn't gone through. Excuse me? It worked well enough for you to send the other 2 books. I double checked the number, name & expiration date. All was fine. I'd recently paid the credit card bill and it was NO WHERE near the limit. I had them retry the card - same thing. Oh, BTW, even if the card went through I wouldn't get the order until the 30th.

So I cancelled and went to Borders this morning and just bought the thing. No problem. Now I'll listen while I finish scrolls & sewing!
