Might be the heat

Might be middle age, might just be Thursday, but dang am I cranky this morning. Which is weird since I had more reason to be cranky yesterday (cut off in traffic, much hotter day, new total ban on watering the garden).

No time like the present to curl up and do data-entry, and expense reports, and other noninteractive tasks.

No exemptions for gardens? How frustrating!

I can use as much water on my garden as I care to carry out from the house in watering cans, which might be enough to keep the rosebush and the clematis alive, but I think the tomatoes will be a total loss. (Oh, drat, I guess I'd better buy a half-bushel from Russo's to make sauce in late summer!)

The water ban is to be lifted when they get the pumping station at the reservoir up and running, currently theoretically July 15.
